George G. Hunt, 79, of Davis, died Friday, September 11, 2015, at Azura Memory Care in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Born November 8, 1935 in Ryan, Oklahoma he was the son of Tate G. and Hazel J. (Beare) Hunt. He married Gail L. Cloud May 30, 1959 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
George was regional Vice President for Hanover Insurance Company retiring in 1995.
Surviving are his wife, Gail of Davis; his children, Hillary (Pat Egan) Hunt of Apple River, Heather Lingen of Lakeville, Minnesota, G. Tate (Jim Kussman) Hunt of Glen Ellyn, Matthew G. Hunt of Riverside; 7 grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Gary and Wayne Hunt; and one sister, Anita S. Cummins.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Grace Episcopal Church in Freeport.
Memorials have been established for Grace Episcopal Church, Alzheimer's Association, and Monroe Clinic Hospice.
