Freeport: Gerald B. Klinger, 62 of Freeport died Monday June 15, 2009 at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport. Born September 19, 1946 in Freeport he was the son of Ben H. and Martha A. (Meier) Klinger. Gerald was a member of Zion Church and Cedarville Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church.
Gerald is survived by his two sisters, Dorothy (Virgil) Kriens and Barbara (Thomas) Suess both of Freeport; two nephews, two step nephews and one step niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and his twin brother. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cedarville Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church with the Reverend Jack Ward of the Church and the Reverend Gardy Cronk of Zion Church officiating. Burial will be in Silver Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church in Cedarville. A memorial has been established in his name for the Silver Springs Cemetery.
