Geraldine "Gerry" K. Walker, 68, of Freeport, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at Presence St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born October 26, 1946 in Freeport she was the daughter of Karl and Marjorie (Erdman) LaBudde. She married Franklin F. Walker on May 11, 1974 in Freeport.
She received her B.S. in Geography from University of Wisconsin in White Water.
Gerry was a Program Analyst for Micro Switch in Freeport.
Her memberships included Trinity United Methodist Church, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Alpha Gamma Delta.
Surviving are her husband, Franklin; one brother, Duane (Viola) LaBudde both of Freeport; her nephew, Patrick (Angela) LaBudde of Adeline; her niece, Kimberly (Shane) Gipe of Pearl City; great nephews, Austin LaBudde, Wyatt Gipe, and Jason LaBudde; great nieces, Zoie Gipe and Paige Stichter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until 12 noon Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church where there will be a memorial service starting at 12 noon.
Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established in her name.
