Freeport- Geraldine L. Stine, 84 of Freeport died Saturday October 20, 2007 at the Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Born January 4, 1923 in Freeport she was the daughter of John and Betty (Armstrong) Munda. She married Nelson E. Burdick, he preceded her in death in 1971. She then married Floyd Stein he also preceded her in death. She worked for Micro Switch prior to her retirement.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty A Burdick of Fairfield, PA., Merry C Carpenter and Deb (Johnnie) Westmoreland both of Freeport; two granddaughters Rickey (Anthony Dedmond) Westmoreland, Sadie Westmoreland; one grandson Matthew N. Carpenter; three great grandchildren Mirakel and Major Dedmond, Peyton Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother George Munda, two sisters Betty Shirk, Joyce Schultz and daughter Kimberlee A. Burdick.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m Thursday at Walker Mortuary and Cremation Services with the Reverend Alan McLearn-Montz officiating.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
