Freeport-Gloria M. Suttman, 76, of Freeport, died Monday, November 27, 2006, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born September 25, 1930 in Freeport she was the daughter of Henry and Grace (Ammerman) Klaus. She married Roland J. "Bubby" Suttman May 14, 1955 and he died June 11, 2004.
She worked at W.T. Rawleigh and then many years at Micro Switch retiring in 1985.
She was a life time member of St. John United Church of Christ
Gloria loved music, playing the piano, knitting, crocheting, garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two sons, Craig (Louise) Suttman of Forreston and Randall (Anita Summers) Suttman of Stockton; one daughter, Noreen (William) Clemmons of Appleton, Wis.; six grandchildren, Benjamin (Adrian) Suttman of Dakota, Curtis Suttman of Freeport, Jason Baker of Waverly, Iowa, Matthew Baker of Belvidere, Lisa and Peter Suttman of Forreston. Two great granddaughters, Madison and Grace Suttman of Dakota; one great grandson, Augustus Suttman of Dakota; 1 sister, Audrey Spahr of Freeport; one brother, Paul (Beulah) Klaus of Freeport; her sister in-law, Jeannie Klaus of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 1 brother, Robert.
Funeral service will be Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ with Reverend Donnley Dutcher officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
