Grace E. Hale, 90, of Freeport, died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born December 27, 1921 in Buckeye Township she was the daughter of Edward and Bessie (Little) Bear. She married Larry Hale March 11, 1950 and he died July 25, 1984.
She worked at Micro Switch Company retiring in 1976.
She enjoyed her family, traveling, and playing bingo.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Bonnie) Hale of Freeport and Roger (Lisa) Hale of Monroe, Wisconsin; her brothers, Delbert Bear of Freeport, and Bob (Joyce) Bear of Portage, Michigan; her sisters, Shirley Amodeo of Saltillo, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Shiloh (Chris) Bradley, Carey Hale, Sheila (John) Bores, Kenneth (Sara) Hale, Staci (Brandon Kreeger) Herrick, Shara (Malco) Ibalio, Joshua Hale and Heather Hale; and eight great grandchildren, Rachel, Tyler, Abigale, Elijah, Elizabeth, Ender, Casey, and Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 sisters, Margaret Butz, Pauline Schradermeier, Marion Nott, and an infant; 1 brother, Kenneth Bear.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Walker Mortuary.
