Grace A. Nyman, 88, of Davis died Thursday March 8, 2012 at her granddaughter's home. Born March 2, 1924 in Stephenson County she was the daughter of George and Lena (Suttman) Viel. On November 19, 1947 she and Floyd Nyman were united in marriage, he preceded her in death on June 5, 1998. For over 27 years she worked at Medina Nursing Center in Durand. Grace enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are 3 daughters Karen (Wayne) Beckmeier and Marcia Lentz both of Davis, Shirley (Scott) Rogers of Eau Claire, WI; two sons Jeffrey and Douglas Nyman both of Davis; 10 grandchildren Ingrid (Mike) Noone, Eric (Karlene) Beckmeier, Marcus (Karla) Beckmeier, Aaron (Heather) Beckmeier, Joe Lentz, Melissa (Michael) Oller, Matt Lentz, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Timothy Rogers; 9 great grandchildren Chevin Noone, Noel Beckmeier, Jackie, Daniel and Mercedes Reuber, Kendra and Kyle Bolen, Brayden Beckmeier and McKayla Oller; sister Alice (Wilbur) Mitchell. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son-in-law Keith Lentz, 3 sisters Jenny Lapp, AnnaMae Heitkam and Kate Lee.
