Gregory F. Clementz (Buster) age 77, of Oswego Illinois passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026 at his farm in Warren IL.

Born April 11, 1949, in Aurora, Illinois. Buster was in the graduating class of 1967 at Marmion Military Academy. Buster started his Army career in 1967-1973 with active duty in Viet Nam for 26 months in 1968-1970.

Buster was an electrician for his father’s company Aurora Wiring & Fixture where he retired after 35 years. He had the pleasure to work some of those years with his own son. After he retired he continued to work hard and enjoyed always having projects. In his later years he perfected the roll as foreman.

In 1977 Buster married "The Best", his wife Denise of 49 years, where they created a great life and built their dreams together. Their first born, Greg was born in 1981, followed by their daughter, Vanessa, in 1985. In 2012 he gained his second so:, his son-in-law, Chris Sira. He has four fabulous granddaughters; Greg's daughters, Baylee and Taylor; Vanessa and Chris's daughters, Avery and Savannah.

Buster enjoyed a wide range of interests including cars, hunting, gambling, live music, family party's and spending time with family and friends. Buster was always willing to lend a hand to help others.

Buster was known for his contagious laugh and resemblance to Kenny Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Denise (Ingraham) Clementz; His children, Gregory Clementz, Vanessa (Chris) Sira; grandchildren, Baylee Clementz, Avery Sira, Taylor Clementz, Savannah Sira; Siblings, Mary (Richard) Gardner, brothers-in-law, Norb Weber, Martha Lage, Peter (Toni), Samuel (Barb), Patrick (Dianne), Michael (Lynda), Christopher (Jean) Clementz; in-laws, Cheri and Curt Evans, Cami (Jim) Wolf, Craig (Lisa) Evans, Charyl (Christina) Evans, Curtis Evans, Ashley (Adam) Miller, Austin (Teagan) Wolf, Haylie Wolf, Landa Evans; and several nieces and nephews; and best friend Mike Klein.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Clementz; sisters, Laura Knuth, Sarah Weber, Doug Clementz, Mark Clementz; brothers-in-law, Greg Lage, Gerry Knuth; and in-laws, Harvey and Marion Ingraham.
