Gregory Scott Reuber passed away on Saturday, December 6, following complications from an accident several weeks earlier. Born on May 2,1965, Greg was one of four sons of Lyle and Joyce (Sager) Reuber.

A proud graduate of Dakota High School, Class of 1983, Greg remained deeply connected to his alma mater throughout his life. For more than 25 years, he served as the scorekeeper for the Lady Indians basketball program—a role he truly cherished. His love for sports extended beyond
basketball; Greg was passionate about volleyball and spent over 30 years as a referee, sharing his enthusiasm and dedication with countless players and fans.

Greg had a deep appreciation for country music, with Toby Keith being his favorite artist. He was also a devoted Chicago Cubs fan and was thrilled to witness their historic 2016 World Series victory. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Joyce Reuber; his brothers, Scott Owen Reuber and Mark Allen Reuber; and his nephews, Micah Kenneth Reuber and Scott Michael Reuber.

He is survived by his brother, Todd Reuber, and sister-in-law, Amy Reuber; sisters-in-law Colleen Hutmacher Reuber and Kathy Kohl Reuber; nieces Leah Reuber and Nilsa Knievel Reuber; and great-niece Eivor Reuber.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated nurses and physicians at OSF for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness in attending to Greg.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Dakota Athletic Boosters.
