Rock City-Harold V. Busjahn, 80, of Rock City, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at the Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born February 19, 1923 in Lena he was the son of Herman and Florence (Shank) Busjahn. He married Betty Miller December 23, 1946.
He was a farmer for 9 years, then worked at J.I. Case in Rockford for 13 years, and then worked for 17 years at Newell Companies until his retirement.
Surviving is his wife, Betty of Rock City; one daughter, Carol (Fred) Kieslar of Mazon; one son, Henry (Genalee) Busjahn of Micanopy, Florida; ten grandchildren; four brothers, Eugene Busjahn of Nokomis, Florida, Elvin (Sarah) Busjahn of Broadhead, Wisconsin, Leonard (Margaret) Busjahn of Monroe, Wisconsin, and Marvin (Jean) Busjahn of Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother.
Funeral service and burial will be Saturday 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens .
Friends may call Saturday 10:30 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
