Harriet M. Bookman, 97, of Freeport died Thursday February 7, 2013 at Freeport Healthcare and Rehab. Born October 22, 1915 in Freeport she was the daughter of Glen and Edna (Landgraf) Bookman. For 40 years she worked at Economy Fire and Casualty Co retiring in 1980. Surviving are cousins and friend Pam Meier. Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister Monica. Visitation will be Monday 12 p.m. until the time of service at 1p.m. at the Chapel of Peace at the Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum with Reverend Kathleen Luke of United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum.
