Harry F. Anderson, 68, of Freeport, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at his home in Freeport.
Born February 18, 1941 in Freeport he was the son of Robert and Marie (Wittbecker) Anderson. He married Linda Snyder December 28, 1965 in Freeport.
Harry worked in Freeport for Newell Companies, FHN Memorial Hospital and FHN Clinic.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 through 1964.
Harry thought the world of his grandchildren and lived everyday for them.
Surviving are his wife, Linda of Freeport; 1 daughter, Lisa (Eric) Seffrood of Freeport; 1 son, Ron (Kim) Anderson of Chicago; 3 brothers, Jim Anderson, Jerry (Rita) Anderson, and Richard (Vickie) Anderson all of Freeport; 2 granddaughters, Skylar Seffrood and Hannah Anderson; 3 grandsons, Dylan Seffrood, Nicholas and Nolan Anderson; 1 brother in-law, Donald Gift of Forreston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Delores Gift; and 1 brother, Ronald Anderson.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Per Harry's wishes there will be no funeral services.
