Freeport: Helen B. Henze, 91 of Freeport died Monday August 22, 2005 at Parkview Home. Born December 2, 1913 in Monroe, WI. She was the daughter of Charles G. and Amy (Swanson) Kelley. On August 12, 1945 she married Noble R. Henze in Freeport, he died on September 18, 1981. She graduated from Freeport High School class of 1931. She worked for Crum and Forster Insurance Company and farmed with her husband on the family farm near Afolkey, she was member of First United Methodist Church of Freeport for over 80 years and also the Elder William Brewster Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Being a direct descendant of Elder Brewster who came to America on the Mayflower. She is the last living member of her family. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Alka Lyall officiating. Burial will be in Dakota Cemetery, Dakota, IL. Visitation will be Thursday at the time of service at First United Methodist Church, Freeport. A memorial has been established in her name for First United Methodist Church and Parkview Home.
