Ingeborg "Angie" H. Taubert, 60, of Freeport, died September 18, 2011 at her home.
Born July 5, 1951 in Bamberg, Germany she was the daughter of Matthew and Helene (Goeller) White. She married Gregory L. Taubert July 5, 1997 and he died April 25, 2008.
Angie worked as a dispatcher for the City of Freeport for 25 years retiring in July of 2011.
Her memberships included the Ladies of the Elks and Eagles women Auxiliary. She served as a Humane Investigator for the Friends Forever Humane Society.
Surviving are her mother, Helene of Plainfield; 2 sons, Keith (Lucy) Kentner of New Jersey and Stephen (fiancé Cathie Mayer) Kentner of Rockford; 2 sisters, Helen (Jerry) Watters of Algonquin and Kathleen (Stan) Erbe of Plainfield; several grandchildren, Kyle and Brennan Kentner of New Jersey, and Annastee Kentner of Freeport, Samantha and Melissa Ihus, and Jess Marshall all of Rockford, Trinity and Trevian Williams, and Bella Bowser all of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church.
Memorials have been established for Friends Forever Humane Society and Children's Dyslexia Center.
