Ingeborg J. (Stenstrom) Hamilton, 87, of Freeport, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home.
Born January 21, 1926 in Leipsic, Germany she was the daughter of Ernst and Johanna (Stichert) Stoeckel. She married Lawrence Stenstrom and he preceded her in death. She was with Joe Hamilton and he preceded her in death.
She worked at the Reynolds Army Hospital at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Surviving are her sons, Frank (Pat) Stenstrom of Reston, Virginia, Jim (Beth) Stenstrom of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tom Stenstrom of Miami, Florida, and Larry (Deborah) Stenstrom of Freeport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a private family funeral service.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for FHN Memorial Hospital.
