Freeport- Irene May Foutch, 94, of Freeport, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born November 8, 1911 in Freeport she was the daughter of Clarence and Grace (Oswalt) Best. She married Ronald Foutch August 29, 1936 in Galena and he preceded her in death.
Irene worked for the W.T. Rawleigh Company for 8 years and then for 16 years at Furst McNess retiring in 1976.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church
Surviving is her sons, John (Carol) Foutch of Freeport and Charles (Patricia) Foutch of Rockford; one daughter, Judith (Neal) Bennett of Machesney Park; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens
Visitation will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for First Lutheran Church.
