Irene Lee, age 98 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born May 25, 1926; the daughter of the late James and Marie Katchis.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula (John) Bennehoff of Freeport; son, Brian Lee of Chicago; grandchildren, Athena, Jason, & Wesley; great grandson, Nigel; great great grandson, Knox; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters; and a brother.
