James (Beaver) Bender passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at the Stephenson Co. Nursing Center. He was born on March 5, 1928 in Freeport, the son of Guy Calvin Bender and Harriet Elmira (Layton) Bender. On May 16, 1953 he married Wilma Jean (Jacobs) Gagnon. She passed away on July 2, 2005.
