Obituary

Mt.Carroll-James Allen "Fritz" Fritzenmeier, 64, of Mt. Carroll, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, as a result of a one car accident in Whiteside County.
Born December 22, 1940 in Freeport he was the son of William and Vernetta (Hopke) Brydson-Fritzenmeier.
He was a graduate of Freeport High School.
Fritz served in the U.S. Army from September 17, 1963 to September 16, 1965.
He worked at Micro Switch for over 20 years, Sega Corporation and for the past seven years was a driver for Black's Railroad Transit Service in Beard's Town.
He enjoyed time spent with his family. An avid outdoorsman he loved fishing, gardening and traveling. He was an avid NASCAR fan and former volunteer fireman.
Surviving are his daughters, Shawna Fritzenmeier of Mt. Carroll, Amanda (Wael) Emara of Rockford, and Renee Harmon of Lanark; 1 sister, Charmaine Blaser of Freeport; 4 grandchildren; nephews; great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother in infancy; and 1 grandson, Caleb Fritzenmeier.
Funeral service and burial will be Thursday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 1: 30 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Peace.
A memorial has been established.
