--Rock City – James Clifford Ingram, 77 of Rock City passed away unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2022.  He was born February 8, 1945 in Shullsburg, WI to the late Delvin and Alberta (Rowe) Ingram.  He married Janaan Cueno on November 7, 1964 in Dubuque, IA and together they built a life and raised a family.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, raised coon hounds, and was a collector of guns, knives and Heston belt buckles.  He loved to target shoot and took part in competition hunts.   He once placed 9 ^th in the 1993 World Coon hunting competition.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years and his son, Timothy (Melissa Gormley) Ingram of Platteville, WI.  Also his Brothers, Jack (Kay) Ingram of Rock City; Jerry (Shelly) Ingram of Florida; and his sister, Debbie (Joe) Harty of Viola, WI.  His legacy includes 3 grandchildren, Ambrose Ingram, Agnes Pagel and Jackson Gormley, and 1 great grandchild Rowan Pagel, and godchildren Patrick Ingram and Nicole Cueno-Brand as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families all who added joy and love to his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Kay Brandt and brothers, Joey and Larry Ingram.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held on September 10, 2022 at the Coon and Fox Hunter's Association of Northern Illinois. The address is 12314 Harrison Rd. Durand, Il 61024 from 1-4pm with a speech being made at 2:30pm. . There will be sandwiches and snacks served.
