James Alfred Koym, 74, passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2011. He was born to Lillian (Ochsner) and Alfred Koym in Freeport, IL at Deaconess Hospital on March 20, 1936. Jim grew up in Freeport and graduated from Freeport High School with the class of 1953. He married Judith Price at St. John Church in Freeport on September 9, 1956 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
