James J. Schneider, 67, of Cedarville, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born April 9, 1947, in Chicago, he was the son of Joseph and Joyce (Winterfeldt) Schneider. He married Marsha L. Chatman October 14, 1977.
Jim was a Sales Manager for H&H industries.
He was an Army Vietnam veteran.
Jim was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and their men's group.
Surviving is his wife, Marsha of Cedarville; his daughters, Jamie Lynn Schneider of Freeport, April Elliott of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Evelyn (David) Atkins and Rae Schneider both of Foxworth, Mississippi; his sons, Jason (Bonnie) Schneider of Norfolk, Virginia, and Aytien James Schneider of Cedarville; 1 sister, Reverend Mary Jane (Reverend Gary) Saunders of Boiling Green, Ohio; 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 son, Kyle Brandon Schneider
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Grace Episcopal Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Grace Episcopal Church.
