James K. Schult, 67, of Freeport, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born October 20, 1944 in Freeport, he was the son of Alfred E. and Marie E (Schumacher) Schult.
James was confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, Wisconsin. He lived at the Bethesda Lutheran Community Home in Plainfield where he was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
James now resides with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in his happy home.
Surviving is his mother, Marie of Freeport; 1 sister, Annette (John) Sonntag of Columbus, Nebraska; 1 brother, Reverend Paul (Joy) Schult of Kansas City, Missouri; 2 nieces, Kristina Sonntag of Omaha, Nebraska and Alli Schult of Kansas City, Missouri; 1 nephew, Caleb (Christy) Sonntag of Omaha, Nebraska; 1 great niece, Charlotte Sonntag; and 1 great nephew, Landon Sonntag.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Bethesda Lutheran Communities.
