James Fredrick Langholf "Snuffy", loving husband, father, son and brother died Tuesday September 13, 2011 in rural Iowa. Born February 7, 1961 in Rockford he was the son of Eugene and Arlene (Gross) Langholf. On May 22, 1982 he married the love of his life, his soul mate Julie Printz at St. James Lutheran Church in Forreston. Spending time with his family and supporting his children at their sporting events was a big part of his life. Snuffy also enjoyed showing animals at local county fairs, trucking, Fords, Cubs and DaBears. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Forreston, FFA alumni and Seward Determination 4-H. He loved his horses and was a "Cowboy" at heart. Surviving are his parents Eugene and Arlene Langholf of Pecatonica, wife Julie of Dakota; three children Jenna (Kenny) Light of Pecatonica, Jessica Langholf of Madison, WI, Joshua Langholf of Dakota; brother Michael (Marie) Langholf of Lena; sister Leslie Filer of Lena; mother-in-law and father-in-law Rex and Ardis Printz of Baileyville; brother-in-law Mike (Carla) Printz of Cheyenne, WY; sister-in-law Lorie (Denny) Hazel of Freeport; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and dogs Zeke and Maddie. Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
