James Stebbins (Jim/Jimmy) 87, died May 6, 2026 in Freeport IL. Jim was born in Freeport IL on May 7, 1938 to Irma Bowers & Homer J. Stebbins.
Jim was an avid walker and would often visit the local Freeport shops and stores to say hello. He was also interested in current events in the paper he read each day. Jim loved nothing better than to gather with family for any occasion.
Jim is survived by his sister, Shirley (Stebbins) Hand of Indiana and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; Sisters, Virginia (Stebbins) Jansen and Joyce (Stebbins) Snell and Brother, Gary Stebbins.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there are no services scheduled at this time. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.walkermortuary.com
