Jana Lynn Olsen, age 57 of Rock City, IL, passed away September 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born on September 29, 1963 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Roger and Susan (Daughenbaugh) Flack.

Jana married Tom Olsen on December 21, 1981.

She was the president of TR Machine of Davis, IL. Jana was a member of St. Paul Church of Epleyanna in Davis; former member of the Davis Fire Dept. Auxiliary; the DOE Foundation of Dakota High School; former EMT-I for the Tri District Ambulance; and a member of the Victory Book Club.

Jana took great pride in the family she created with the love of her life, "Tommy." Family was everything to her. She had a great love for her children and grandchildren. BINGO was a family favorite. She was known for her generosity, giving the best advice and loved entertaining her friends, especially sharing her passion for cooking. Jana loved traveling the world but she had a special place in her heart for Puerto Vallarta, which was her and Tommy's home away from home.

Jana is survived by her husband Tom, children Teal (Brock) Feld of Freeport, IL; Whitney (Mike) Lawler of Rock City, IL; Kayla (Cody) Jacobson of Davis, IL; her ten grandchildren Riley, Tatumn, Talon, Taylor, Sophia, Chandler, Koehn, Dawson, Kanton, Jovi; brother Shane (Stacey) Flack of Freeport, IL; mother-in-law Barbara Olsen; brother and sister-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. "Our Familia" – Luz, Yesica (José), Daniella, Juan (Griselda), Miguel, Evan, Christopher, Brian, Ian, Miranda, Hansel, and Freddie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Richard Olsen; sister-in-law, Kelley Olsen; grandparents, Bob and Helen Flack & Lester and Margaret Daughenbaugh.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at St. Paul Church of Epleyanna in Davis, IL.  The funeral service will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the church.  Masks will be required according to State of Illinois mandates for indoor settings and gatherings. There will be a zoom link posted with a password to attend services virtually. Internment will take place at St. Paul Church of Epleyanna Cemetery.    A celebration of life immediately following until 7 pm in Freeport, IL.  In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for Casa Hogar Orphanage in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in Jana's name.
