Janet M. Rayhorn, 77, of Rock City, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Presence St. Joseph Nursing Center in Freeport.
Born December 29, 1937 in Freeport, she was the daughter of Lewis and Pearl (Williams) Kraft. She married Nathan R Rayhorn December 13, 1958 and he died December 22, 1994.
Janet farmed with her husband in the Rock City area.
Surviving are her children, Nancy (Doug) Huston of Dakota, Allen Rayhorn of Rock City, and Sylvia (Roger) Albright of Rock City; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Binder, Steven and Jonathan Albright, Natalie Huston, Aaron (Ashley) Huston, Brittney (Randy) Gerstner, Benjamin (Jenny) Rayhorn, Brigitte Rayhorn, and Samantha Huston; 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce Cummins of Browntown, Wisconsin and Betty Kraft Hartman of Freeport; and her brother, Alfred Kraft of Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Colleen; and her brother, Louis Kraft.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota. Burial will be in the Dakota Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 Monday, July 6, 2015 at Daughenbaugh Funeral in Dakota.
