Janet Swanson died January 6 2013 at the Freeport Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Mendota IL December 9, 1961 to Lloyd and Shirley (Bodmer) Schwarz.
Janet grew up in Rock Falls, IL. She married Steven Swanson June 9, 2006 in Freeport.
Survivors include her husband Steve, daughter Emily Roth, sons Christopher and Brady Swanson, mother Shirley Schwarz, brothers Brad (Lisa) Schwarz, Lloyd Schwarz.Jr., sister Peggy (mike) Corrigan, Steve's parents John and Joci Swanson, Steve's brothers Joseph (Tracy) of Monroe, WI, Vince (Emily)of Shannon IL and Dominic (Angie) of Loves Park, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister and both sets of grandparents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial will be held in Sterling, IL Saturday January 12 . Visitation from 10 AM to 11AM service to follow at 11 AM at New Life Lutheran Church; 3312 River Road; Sterling IL 61087.
A Celebration of Janet's Life will be held in Freeport at Steve and Janet's residence at 948 West Lincoln Boulevard Sunday January 13 from 1 to 4 PM.
Janet put her heart and soul into all of the decor and designs of their home. To see their home is to know her and feel her presence.
