Janice E. Campbell passed away at Freeport Memorial Hospital on November 9, 2020. Janice was born on September 29, 1940 in Stockton, IL to Alton and Ethel (Penticoff) Cox. Janice graduated from Pearl City High School. Janice married Harry "Mickey" Campbell on September 27, 1997.

Janice was a hard worker, and her jobs included working at Structo, Economy Fire and Casualty, working as a CNA at Freeport Manor and she owned her own dog grooming business. Janice was a truck driver for twenty one years at FFI, and was a member of the 2 Million Mile Club for driving. She was a fan of John Wayne and Elvis Presley, and loved to watch Professional Bull Riders. She enjoyed gardening, listening to audio books, going to the casino and playing games on the computer. She also loved all her dogs and cats.

Janice is survived by her husband, Harry of Freeport; her son, Dean (Lisa) Stoehr of Freeport; her daughter, Darci (Tim) Miller of Freeport; Step daughter, Kathy Jo (Mark) Duprey of TX; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Terry) Ross, Sr., Joshua Black, Amanda Stoehr, Jennifer (Henri) McClain, Nicholas Miller, Lindsay Kassa, Jordan Kassa Madison Kassa; six great grandchildren Terry Ross Jr., Aaliyah Ross, Maison Griffin, Azalea Stoehr, Zavion McClain, Jamarion McClain; one niece, Deb (Jon) Green; great nephews, Barry Green, Jared Green; Great Niece, Stacie Green; great-great niece Gabrielle Mordick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marlene Bishop, and brother in law, Wayne Bishop.

A private service will be held at Walker Mortuary in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name at Friends Forever Humane Society. Condolences can be shared at www.walkermortuary.com.
