Janice A. Winebrenner, 92 of Freeport passed away on May 13, 2025 at Manor Court Nursing Center surrounded by family. She was born on May 12, 1933 to Robert and Stella (Fairchild) MaKarrall in Revere, MN.  She married Ron Winebrenner on April 20, 1960 and together they built a life.  He passed away April 12, 2010.

Janice graduated from Dekalb High School in 1951 and worked as an accountant at hospitals in Charleston, IL and Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband; her brothers, Robert "Don" MaKarrall and Dale MaKarrall and her sisters, Margaret Fagan, Dorothy Durr, Jean Kolze and Lois Sanders.

According to her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  Her final resting place will be at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport next to her husband, Ron.  Condolences can be shared with the family at www.walkermortuary.com
