JEAN EPPING
Freeport-Jean Epping, 81, of Freeport, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at her home.
Born October 17, 1930 in Chicago she was the daughter of Allan and Lywood (White) Harris. She married Merlin Epping April 3, 1953.
She graduated from Freeport High School in 1948.
Jean worked at Micro Switch for 39 years. She was a member of the Honeywell 25 year club.
Surviving is her husband, Merlin of Freeport; 1 sister-in-law, Joan (Allan) Bear of Orangeville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 1 brother.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Walker Mortuary. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Open Bible Church.
