Obituary
Jean A. Harnish, 80, of Lena, passed away, Friday, March 22, 2013, at Lena Living Center in Lena.
Born April 17, 1932 in Freeport she was the daughter of Leslie and Agnes (Fehr) Thomasson. She married Samuel Harnish February 16, 1957 and he died October 14, 1989.
She retired from Freeport Honeywell in 1991. She was a member of Lena United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her twin sister, Joan Stake and, Burdene (Donald) Meyers both of Lena, and Marilyn (Jack) Confer of Lakeville, Minnesota; many nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam; two brothers, Burdette and Eldon Thomasson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Peace.
Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name for Lena United Methodist Church.
