Jean F. Monte, 91, of Orangeville, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Manor Court in Freeport.
Born August 15, 1924 in Orangeville she was the daughter of Charles and Anna (Beard) Holloway.
A graduate of Orangeville High School she was a member of Orangeville United Methodist Church.
Jean was an inspector at Micro Switch retiring in 1986.
Surviving are her children, Judy (Tom Hoeft) Curboy of Freeport, Roberta (James) Folgate of Dakota, James Monte of Orangeville, Steven( Deanna) Monte of Orangeville; her sister, June (Gene) Jordan of Orangeville; her sister-in-law, Donna Holloway of Winslow; 7 grandchildren;15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Monte; and her brother, James Holloway.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for family and friends 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 23, at Walker Mortuary.
Memorial funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 24, 2015 at Orangeville United Methodist Church in Orangeville.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Orangeville United Methodist Church.
