Obituary
Freeport-Jean L. Schramm, 84, of Freeport, died Sunday August 28, 2005, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born December 13, 1920 in Rockford she was the daughter of Lloyd and Julia (Anderson) Mullican. She married Karl M. Schramm February 10, 1946 in Rockford.
Jean worked at Taylor Park School for 14 years.
She was a member of Embury United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving is her husband, Karl of Freeport; two sons, Charles M. (Debbi) Schramm of Cupertino, CA and Richard E. (Kathy) Schramm of Galesburg; 5 grandchildren, Emily Schramm of Rockford, David Schramm of Galesburg, Andrew (Kristi) Schramm of Los Angeles, CA, James, and Patrick Schramm of Cupertino, CA.; her God daughter, Melinda (Thomas) Ferguson of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at Embury United Methodist Church with Reverend D. Robin Benson officiating.
Interment of cremated remains will be in the Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum.
A memorial has been established in her name.
