Jeanette (Corky Wittbecker) Kunkle, age 90 of Freeport, IL, passed away November 2, 2019 at her home. She was born August 9, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Mable (Oswalt) Wittbecker. She married Robert Kunkle November 27, 1948. She worked many years at MicroSwitch and at Freeport Memorial Hospital before she retired.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Don) Reeves and Connie (Steve) Dykstra; two granddaughters, Tracy (Aaron) Love and Kristy (Nick) Gill; four great grandchildren, Rhys Love, Brianne Love, Brady Gill and Brynn Gill. She was preceded in death by Robert; one grandchild, Chad Allen Dykstra; mother & father; seven sisters, Lilas Maher, Ruby Monigold, Marie Anderson, Isabelle Marsh, Betty Stubbe, Doris Larsen, and Jean Schlamp; and two brothers, Harold Wittbecker and Willard Wittbecker.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 5 ^th at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
