Jeanette M. Leopold , 94 of Freeport passed away on March 11, 2020 at Walnut Acres.  She was born on July 26, 1925 in Freeport to Raymond and Blanche (Moyer) Camerer.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Freeport.  She worked at MicroSwitch and loved bowling in the MicroSwitch Leagues. She played in a card club, loved to garden and vacationing to the cabin at Lake Wisconsin was her favorite place to be and loved fishing while they were there.

She is survived by her sons, Bernie (Becky) Leopold of Iowa City, IA, Michael (Joanna) Leopold of Harbor Springs, MI and Dennis (Connie) Leopold of Cape Coral, Fl. Her sister-in-law, Arlene Camerer of Freeport survives her as well. She has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Robert and William Camerer; and her sisters, Eleanor Dominick and Lois Bantle.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 17 ^th at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport with Pastor Keith Johnson officiating. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.
