Freeport-Jeanette K. Munz, 83, of Freeport, died peacefully and went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 22, 2003, at the Freeport Manor Nursing Center.
Born May 3, 1920 in Freeport she was the daughter of George and Helen (Hahn) Morrison.
She worked at Micro Switch Company retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Merle) Mellen of Freeport and Kathy (Ellis) Atherton of Shannon; one son, Don (Karen) Munz of Freeport; one brother, Ralph (Phyllis) Morrison of Freeport; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Her parents and one brother, Harold Morrison, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Monday 10:30 a.m. at Bethany United Church of Christ with Reverend Ward Malloy officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at Bethany United Church of Christ.
Memorials have been established for Bethany United Church of Christ and Freeport Memorial Hospice.
