Freeport-Jeffrey John Rutter, 53, of Freeport, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Born June 27, 1950 in Freeport he was the son of Dawn and Rachael (Walz) Rutter. He married Jeannine M. Cauwels July 24, 1976.
He received his B.S. in Hospital Administration from Ottawa University.
He was a Respiratory Therapist for St. Anthony Medical Center, FHN Memorial Hospital, and the Monroe Clinic. He also served as a substitute teacher for Freeport School District 145
Surviving is his wife, Jeannine; his mother Rachael both of Freeport; one son, Jonathan M. Rutter of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; his daughter, Sarah E. Rutter of Freeport; and his aunt, Lois Walz of Freeport.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father.
Cremation rites have accorded.
Memorial service will be Wednesday 1 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established in his name.
