Cedarville- Jeffrey R. Beam, 39, of Cedarville, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 as a result of a motorcycle accident in rural Dane County, Wisconsin.
Born September 17, 1964 in Freeport he was the son of Ronald H. and Barbara A. (Baldwin) Beam. He married Jodi L. Boyer April 4, 1998 in Freeport.
He worked at Freeport Honda/Kawasaki for several years and presently was working at Perdue Marine.
A remarkable man who was extremely devoted to his family and friends he especially enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in the woods.
A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a collector of vintage cycles, and was a well-respected motorcycle mechanic. He loved his week end cycle rides with his friends.
Surviving are his wife and parents of Cedarville; 3 sisters, Wendy J. (Bill) Schmidt of Blanchardville, Wisconsin, Jody L. (Stan) Petta of Freeport, and Rhonda L. (Bruce) Allen of Rockford; his grandmother, Isabel Baldwin of Freeport; his in-laws, Ron and Karen Boyer of Ridott; his brother in-law, David Boyer of Marshfield, Wisconsin; 4 nieces and 5 nephews.
His grandparents and brother in-law, Michael Boyer preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church with Reverend Lyle D. Babcock of Richland Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Cedarville Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
