Rockford-Jeffrey Dale Love, 47, of Rockford, died Sunday April 10, 2005, at his home.
Born January 22, 1958 in Freeport he was the son of Russell L. and Lorine (Rod) Love Sr.
A graduate of Freeport High School he worked at Seward Agriculture Supply in Seward. He also worked at Structo, and cooked at Beltline Café.
Surviving is his parents of Cedarville; 4 children, James and Tonya of Freeport, Ashly of Mt. Morris and Cody of Newton, Kansas; 4 brothers, Stephan (Barbara) Love of Canton, Allen of Cedarville, Dennis (Lori) of Orangeville, and David (Janice) of Cedarville; close friend, Scott Cooley; aunts, Penny (James) Endriss of Freeport, Alice (Craig) Brattrud of Baileyville, Francis Vittorio of Rockford; uncle, Merlin Rod of Baker City OR; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Kay Love and Laura Meinder; brother, Russell L. Love Jr.; niece, Susan Love.
He enjoyed building models cars, NASCAR racing, many kinds of music, and was a special fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Funeral service will be Friday 10 a.m. at Family Christian Center with Pastor Fred Woodruff officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in his name.
