Jerry Ray Dinley, 72, of Freeport, died Monday, December 30, 2013.
Born June 9, 1941 in Savanna, he was the son of Raymond and Ruth (Baker) Dinley.
He married Linda Perkins Jacobson July 9, 1994.
He worked at Farm & Fleet for several years.
Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Linda of Freeport; his children, Janet Reeser, Dean (Lisa) Stoehr and Kimberly Lawson all of Freeport, and Daniel (Kimberly) Jacobson of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; his sisters, Delores (Jack) McLaughlin of Scottsdale, Arizona and Gloria Strahm of Blair, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dale and one sister, Eleanor.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at First Free Methodist Church with Reverend Don Jamerson officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
