Freeport-Joan M. Lingbeck, 68, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 16, 2005, at her home.
Born January 11, 1937 in Stephenson County she was the daughter of Carl and Ester (O'Farrell) Gast. She married LaVerle Lingbeck on May 14, 1955.
Joan was an Avon Representative for 39 years. An animal lover, she enjoyed horses and training dogs.
Surviving is her husband, LaVerle of Freeport; children, Gary (Sue) Lingbeck of Lena, Sherry (Robert) Phillips of Machesney Park, and Dennis Lingbeck of Loves Park; grandchildren, Seth and Rachael Lingbeck of Lena.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her body has been donated to science.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
A memorial has been established in her name.
