Freeport – Jody A. Nieman, 56 of Freeport passed away at home on Saturday, December 20, 2025.  She was born on April 18, 1969 in Freeport to Don and Ann (Schultz) Kraft.  She married Brad Nieman on February 20, 1988.

Jody graduated in 1987 from Freeport High School. She worked at the Freeport Health Network till 1997. She then started working with her husband, Brad with his air hammering business along with working in their farming operation.  Her greatest joy was her daily text messages with all of her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Brad Nieman of Freeport; Son, Nate Nieman of Freeport; Father-in-law, Ray Nieman of Freeport; Brothers and Sister-in-law, Greg and Candice Nieman and Mike and Diana Holbert along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ann Kraft and mother-in-law, Jeri Nieman.
