Obituary

Cedarville – Joe A. Tracy, 62 of Cedarville passed away at home following a brief illness, on December 8, 2025 with his family by his side.  He was born on July 30, 1963 to Rodney and Francis (Eppling) Tracy.  He and Barbara Evenson were married on May 14, 1999 at Freeport First United Methodist Church.

Joe was a loyal Packer Fan.  He loved lawn mower racing, camping, fishing, carpentry and being with his family.  He worked for Gitz/Meier home and business remodeling and restoration for 20 years.  He loved his work in mold remediation and fire restoration.  He was a loving husband, father, uncle, Papa and friend.  He was a great soul mate and wonderful husband.  He never met a stranger and his second home was Menards.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Cedarville; His children, Rodney (Missy) Tracy and their children, Addie, Emme and Sylvie.  His daughters, Christine Tracy and her children Jesse Luchsinger and Billy Ray Strang; Christina (Jeff) Lindenman and their children, Kyle (Tessie) Lindenman and great grandson, Archer Lindenman; grandson, Cody Evenson and great grandchildren Jaxson and Bailee Evenson. Son, Curt (Tonya) Parham and their children, Shelby (Steven) Parham and their children Chloe and Levi Stewart; Samantha (Zack) Matheny and great grandchildren Noah, Mason and Dawson Robertson.

His brothers, Ray (Dotty) Tracy and Randy Tracy; Sister, Teresa Hetherington. Sisters – in -law, Bonnie (Richard) Sigafus and Mary Evenson. His Aunt, Sharon Huenefeld of North Carolina; Nieces and Nephews, Dennis Ritter, Michael Dyson, Kimberly Lynn, Ken (Angie) Warner, Jessie (Austin ) Capp, Zach (Dane) Warner, David (Julie) Evenson, Noah Evenson, Lexi Evenson, Hope Evenson, Ron (Kristine) Evenson, Stacey Evenson and Timmy Evenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Rodney Tracy; Grandmother, Katherine Eppling; daughter, Amy Rose Tracy; Granddaughter, Mia Tracy; Brothers-in-law, Bill and Mike Evenson.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1-3pm at Walker Mortuary and a service will follow at 3pm also at Walker Mortuary.

Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and a burial will take place in the spring.
