Cedarville: Johanna K. Moring, 84, of Cedarville died Monday, November 21, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph's Center. Born March 11, 1921 in Ridott Twp. She was the daughter of John and Jennie (Harms) Stratmann. Johanna was a graduate of the Pleasant Prairie Academy in German Valley in 1938. On May 5, 1943 she married Lloyd Moring at the Silver Creek Reformed Church in German Valley, IL. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Stephenson County Home Extension. She loved being with and taking care of her family and had a passion for sewing. Surviving is her husband Lloyd of Cedarville, two sons, Rodger (Linda) Moring of Paris, Tenn., Ronald (Kathy) Moring of Lena and one daughter Susan (Scott) Leverton of McConnell, three sisters, Viola Rachuy of Stockton, Hermina Swanson of Rockford and Harriett Gerloff of Lena, five grandchildren, Jamie (Douglas) Folk of Jackson, Tenn., Brenda (Joao) Coelho of Wheeling, IL, Valerie (Robert) Schubert of Columbus, OH,Douglas Moring of Liberty Lake, Washington and Kyle Leverton of McConnell. Three great grandchildren, Alex, Micah, and Talia Folk all of Jackson, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brother-in- law's. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church with the Reverend Douglas Q. Bowden and Reverend Bruce Janes officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport. Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Walker Mortuary. A memorial has been established in her name for Faith United Methodist Church.
