Obituary
Shannon- John Paul Law, Jr., 75, of Shannon, formerly of Chicago, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center in Freeport.
Born January 28, 1929 in Chicago he was the son of John and Julia (Mulchu) Lawcewicz.
A graduate of Quincy College he was a Navy Korean Conflict veteran.
Surviving is his partner and lifelong friend, D. Grant Disney of Shannon; his sister, Mary (Henry) Szot of Niles; 3 nieces.
His parents preceded him in death.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 321 W. Main St., Freeport, Illinois, with Reverend Michael J. Bolger of Shannon St. Wendelin Catholic Church officiating.
A memorial has been established in his name.
