Joseph "Joe" Fosler, 78 of Freeport died Wednesday November 3, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born March 25, 1932 in Freeport he was the son of Charles and Blanche (Huber) Fosler. Joe was a U.S. Army veteran. On January 30, 1964 he and Ruth Schaible were united in marriage. He retired from Micro Switch and then went to work for Pecks News Stand. He is survived by two daughters Joann (Bob) Harris, Susan (Regiold) Price both of Freeport; two brothers Dick (Lois) Fosler, Bill (Ruth) Fosler both of Freeport; one sister Lola Janicke of Rockford; four grandchildren Steven Price, Jonathan, Amanda and Jennifer Boehm; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, two brothers and a sister.
