Joseph E. "Joe" Kish Jr., 71, of Freeport, died Sunday December 29, 2013, at his home.
Born October 11, 1942 in Lucerne Mines, PA he was the son of Joseph E. and Francis (Zometsky) Kish Sr. He married Nancy F. Schumayer September 25, 1963.
Joe worked at Micro Switch for over 20 years and was an avid outdoors man who loved his pets.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy; his children, Annette (Jacey) Ensor of Freeport, Luanna Kish of Roscoe and Joseph E. (Kim) Kish III of Oakley; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Brianna, Makayla, Mason, Tanner; sister, Elizabeth Razayeski of West Columbia, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Kathryn.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be a gathering for family and friends at the Beltline Cafe on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5-7p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
