Joyce A. (Carley) Bloyer, 89 of Freeport passed away on Monday, July 6 ^th with her family by her side. She was born November 19, 1930 to Frederick and Dora (LaPlaine) Carley.  She married Charles Bloyer on March 18, 1950. He died on May 23, 1999.

Joyce was a member of St. John United Church of Christ Freeport.  She was a volunteer at the Stephenson County Senior Resource Center, FACC and St. John UCC, Freeport.  She was an avid bowler and she loved to play Skip Bo, Bingo, Euchre, Casino Slots and do puzzle books.  She enjoyed Camping a great deal.

She is survived by her 6 children, Mark (Berniece) Bloyer of Freeport, Holly Edler of Freeport, Timothy Bloyer of Rushville, IL, Billie (Michael) Lehman of Laurel, Montana, Christie Harnish of Freeport, and Charles (Teresa)  Bloyer of Freeport.

1 brother, Delbert (Isabelle Lyons) Carley of McConnell, IL as well as 14 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, husband, 3 sisters Arlene Bocker, Arliss Pantall, and Elizabeth Munz and 1 brother Frederick Carley Jr., 2 half- brothers Frances LaPlaine and Billy LaPlaine as well as one Son-in-law Michael Edler.

Joyce's family would like to extend a special thank you to Unity Hospice for their wonderful care.

Visitation will be Friday, July 17 ^th , 2020 at Walker Mortuary beginning at 12 pm. Services will be on Friday, July 17 ^th , 2020 at Walker Mortuary at 1pm followed by an inurnment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
