Joyce LaVonne Ceroni, 90, of Ridott, IL entered into the arms of Jesus on August 23rd, 2022.  She was born October 24th, 1931 to John Ceroni and Sybel (Siems) Ceroni of Ridott, IL.

Joyce had 10 Nieces and Nephews whom she adored.  She worked at Kelly Springfield for many years and proudly retired from there.  She resided in her home in Ridott, IL living on the family farm well into her 80's.

She loved her neighbors and friends, and thrived being outdoors.  She spent many hours in her flower beds, admiring her garden statues, and taking care of her numerous farm kitties.  She also enjoyed being a member at the Faith Community Church in Davis, IL. for many years.  She contributed to the children's nursery and was faithful to bringing others who would need a ride to the services.

She always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart.  She was a woman of incredible strength, faith and character.  She always had a watchful eye on her family and friends and she often said "Toot-A-Loo" instead of goodbye and was never hesitant to tell you "I love you".

She enjoyed her Praise and Worship at Church and listening to numerous County Music Artists.  She also enjoyed when her nieces and nephews would take her to Country Music Concerts, Shopping Trips, Craft Fairs and Church Events.

She was a beautiful example of kindness, courage and incredible strength.  She took pride in being a Ceroni and carried a high regard of being a faith filled example for all who knew her.

We love you and we will miss you, we will see you again.  It's not goodbye, it's Toot-A-Loo.

Joyce is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She is proceeded in death by her parents John Ceroni Sr., Sybel (Siems) Ceroni, brother John Ceroni Jr, brother LeRoy Ceroni, sister-in-law Joan (Murray) Ceroni, niece Laura (Ceroni) McCabe, nephew Terry Ceroni and great-great nephew Quinn Crocker.

There will be a Church Service at Faith Community Church in Davis, IL on August 26th, 2022. The visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., with a church Service starting at 10 a.m., going to 11 a.m. Burial to follow service at Chapel Hill, Freeport, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name for Friends Forever Humane Society – 966 W. Rudy Rd – Freeport, IL and Faith Community Church of Davis.  Assisting the family is Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota, IL.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com .
